State Requirements

A curriculum that consists of at least 1650 hours of theoretical and practical training, 185 hours of theoretical instruction, including five (5) hours in state law and the following number of practical operations, during the 1650 hours:

The Hairdressing Course is a 41-ΒΌ week program (40 hours per week), consisting of a minimum 1,650 hours of theoretical and practical training, and a minimum of 185 hours of theoretical instruction which includes 5 hours in state law.

(41-1/4 weeks at 40 hours per week)
Contracted -- 1,650 hours + 78 = 1,728 hours
(43 weeks @ 40 hours per week + one day)
